Born and raised in rural Missouri in what is affectionately known as “the sticks”, A.R. Harlow has found herself living near the big city of St. Louis with her life partner. While still holding a little piece of country at heart, she finds the city to be a place of ideas where she never knows what will happen next. She has a hyper, well-spoken five year old daughter and two cats that also like to keep her on her toes.

A.R. Harlow takes great interest in the depths of people and why people act and react and develop the way that they do, so much in fact, that she went to get a B.S. in Psychology and is working through a M.A. in Counseling.

She has been writing stories since she was about four years old. When she was around seven, she started to take it more seriously and delved deep into the world of online role playing game forums and often spent days crafting characters in various worlds, including original settings. Several of her short stories and poetry were published in different charity anthologies and an online fiction magazine.

A.R. has been a fan of fantasy and often can be found curled up with a great title that meshes fantasy and science fiction. She has taken a page out of the book of many great authors and has developed a massive multiverse where characters, stories, and timelines will overlap from book to book. She enjoys testing limits, breaking barriers, and tackling any challenge thrown her way.
